Welcome to week 4 everyone! I hope that all the Mother’s in the class were spoilt yesterday!! You all work so hard, so I hope you’re getting the love you deserve. Absentees: Could you please fill in an absentee form either online or handwritten your child is absent? It is legal requirement that I have to ‘resolve absences’ when a student is away. If they are filled in online or handwritten it is a lot easier then chasing up everyone at the end of the semester.   Wheels after Meals: This will be held tomorrow (Tuesday 11th of May). Children are encouraged to bring along their roller blades, skateboards or scooters (no bikes) and the appropriate protective gear. Please be aware that if they do not have their helmet, they will not be able to participate in this wonderful initiative.    Book Fair for 2021: The lovely Mrs. Kemp is holding the annual Scholastic Book fair for 2021 in our school Library on Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 5 (18th and 19th of May). We hope to sell a ...

But the Shockers had a shocking second half and lost to the Eagles.  Anyway, lucky there is more to life then football……………apparently  Before School Activities: We are so lucky to have such fantastic, giving specialist teachers at OLC.  At the moment your children have the opportunity to join in: Choir - Tuesday mornings with Mrs Sherborne at 8am in the Library. Running Club - Wednesday mornings with Mrs Sinclair at 8am on the oval. Students are to bring sneakers. Dance Club - Friday mornings at 8am with Mrs Haines in the Hall! Welcome to week 2! Massive weekend just gone! You know what I am referring to Rob Blechynden! The Dockers PUMPING the terrible Kangaroos. Robbies team didn’t go to well either. Wheelie, Walkie, Waste Free Wednesday: I f possible, please send your child to school with a waste free lunch tomorrow and each Wednesday for the rest of the term. It's a great initiative that instills sustainable behaviours in all of us. Another great way to get behind this initiative, is to walk or ride to school. If you are too far from school, walking from the church may be a way for you to partake.  Laptops: It is super important that these are coming to school with sufficient charge to last the day. Tuesday to Friday during our Reading Groups the students must have access to their laptops as all of their activities are undertaken on their laptops, not to mention the times during other lessons where they are required. Eucharist Dates : These were included on our Homework Grid last week. If your chil...

Could you please go over the grid with your child each week and sign it before Friday morning.
