Week 9 - Home Learning Information/Support

Image
Welcome to week 9. The first thing that I would like to say is a massive thank you to everyone for all the support that I have received in the last couple of weeks. It has been a very trying time and its important to show care and stay safe. It’s been wonderful to have Team meetings with those at home and to see the great work they have been doing.   This Blog will have information regarding Online Learning. It will explain how I want Teams and OneNote to work as well as how to access the videos I have created. There will also be a Do’s and Don’ts section at the end of this Blog. Teams: After one week of using Teams as an Online Learning tool, I have made some adjustments into how I would like Teams to be used. Firstly, I don’t want to see any work submitted on Teams, I would like all work to be submitted on OneNote. My current vision is for Teams to be used for 3 things. Important Home Learning Information

Good morning everyone, Attached is some very important home learning information.  As we are lucky enough to have 1 to 1 laptops in Year 4, learning can easily continue at home with the help of OneNote and Teams. I have created a channel on our 4DA teams. In this channel there a video that goes for about 90 seconds that explains how everyone can access the work for the week. Once work is completed, could they please upload the work to OneNote under the relevant tab in personal section. The learning grid looks like this. I believe that it is very important for the students to have a continued routine during this time, I have seen some excellent examples of the people making visual timetables at home. I have attached 2 that I have found online. If you have any questions about the home learning, please feel free to email me at: benjamin.danaher@cewa.edu.au Good luck everyone, stay safe. Welcome to another fantastic week here in Year 4! A massive thank you to the families that attended our Year 4 Eucharist Commitment and Family Mass on Saturday night, it was really lovely to see all of you standing at the front of the church pledging your commitment to support your child during their preparations to receive this very special sacrament.  Swimming Lessons : Swimming lessons started successfully yesterday. Students are to wear their sports uniform including sneakers to and from school. We will give the students time to get changed after recess. This means it is unnecessary for students to wear their rashies underneath their shirts to school. If you can please make sure that your son is wearing his black school shorts over his boardies, students are expected to be in the correct sports uniform. Once again they can put their boardies on after recess if they think they will get too hot. OUR LEARNING  We have had a great time in our  writing sessions , l
